Super Saver Sunday #2 - Lipstick/gloss

Hey Blogletts,
Here is another post on what you can save your money on. Todays product is .....
17 mirror shine lipstick - Beehive.

This is an amazing product. It is quite sheer so it leaves a little colour on the lips but it gives an amazing shine so for someone who doesn't get on with lipgloss, this is a nice inbetween.

This comes in a range of sheer, shiny colours and for the price of £4.59 which for a lipstick and gloss all in one I think is pretty good.
There is one tiny downside which is that it can tend to dry out the lips a little, but whack a lipbalm on first and you are good to go.
Overall I think this is an amazing product and definately a super saver.
What are your super saver products of the week?
Bye for now xx

September Empties - #1

Hey Blogletts,
So I haven't used all of these products in one month and I have been collecting them for a while. I really enjoy this type of post as it encourages us to use products we have instead of collecting and never using things, so I hope you enjoy this aswell.
First of all I have shower gels ...
No1 L'OCCITANE LAVANDE shower gel -
I really like L'OCCITANE and so when they had a sample bag earlier this year I thought it would be a great chance to try new things. This was one of the samples that was in the bag ...

As far as shower gels go its nice, not amazing but the smell was pretty good. However I don't think that I will repurchase this as it is quite pricey for a shower gel and it didn't do much extra.
There are some cheaper alternatives such as Lemon Souffle N-Spa shower gel. This again was in a travel set and I find these minis great as it gives you a chance to try out a lot without having to get through months of product. This is again an okay shower gel, its pretty cheap and does the job so I probably will repurchase this. Plus I like quite zingy scents in shower gels which this has.

Next up a nail polish remover - Sally Hansen Strengthening nail polish remover ...
This is again an okay product, its great at taking off nail polish, but it struggles with glitter which is a bit of a bummer. I like this and already am using another bottle, I'm sure there are better ones out there but this one will do for now.

Now for  spot treatment/gel - Witch blemish stick ...
I wasn't very impressed with this at all, I felt it did nothing for my spots but dry them out. I guess it is pretty cheap so in this case the quality reflects the price.

Next a product I was super impressed with - Clarins Moisture Replenishing lip balm ...
This is amazing. I only had a tiny sample and it lasted for ages! I felt that it actually provided moisture instead of leaving a greasy feeling. Overall I really enjoyed this and even cut it in half to get the left over product.

Finally an eyeliner - Loreal Superliner Carbon Gloss ...
In my 'shopping my stash' post I mentioned that this was soon to be gone and I am so sad that it is. Whilst using this up i remembered how much I loved this. It is so easy to use, black and glossy. I am so repurchasing this!

So I hope you enjoyed this and it has inspired you to use up some of your products that are just lying around.
What do you want to use up?
Bye for now xx

Super saver sunday

Hey blogletts,
This is going to be a new part of my blog where I will show you my top baragin/saver product of the week.
This week the product is ... drumroll please (roll of a drumroll of a drumroll of a drumroll of a drum)
MUA eyeshadows coming in at the freaking amazing price of £1!!!!!!
These eyeshadows are super pigmented and come in a good range, with different finishes.
The shades I have are this light pink and matte nude colour(perfect for autumn).

Overall I think you should pop on down to your local superdrug and pick up a few of these beauties.
Bye for now xx

Shopping my stash #1

Hey Blogletts,
As I have a reasonable amount of makeup I don't get to use a lot of it and then it just build and builds and I never finish anything .... gaaaaahh! Then the products go off and it was just a waste. So I am not going to buy any makeup unless I use a product up.

So the first thing I am going to make more of an effort to use is the Collection (2000) Lasting Perfection Concealer -
I have a Love/Hate relationship with this ... well more of a hate relationship with this as it is sooooo full coverage I feel it is hard to blend and I just don't really like it. However I am going to make more of an effort to use this so I can use it up and never see it again.

Next I am going to try and use the Natural Collection Blush in Peach Melba -

I used to use this religiously but for an unknown reason I stopped. So as autumn is fast approaching and I feel this is a a good autumn colour so I will try and use it more.

When I have nearly finished a product I stop using it in fear of it running out. WHYY?!? I can't seem to realise that I can always buy a new one and if I stop using it, eventually it will go off and dry up. So I have the tiniest bit of the Loreal Super Liner in Carbon Gloss and I will finish this within about 2 uses I think.

Finally I bought a rimmel quad for doing a friends gothic-esq makeup and haven't really used it since.

So those are the products I am going to try and use more.
What are you going to try and use more?
Bye for now xx

September wishlist

Hey Blogletts,

I can't believe it is September! This year is whizzing past and autumn things are needed so here is my September wishlist ...

First of all I have always admired the AA Disco pants and Topshop have come out with their own version so am super desperate to go and get them

I am starting to really get scared about the sun and feel I definately need an SPF so I am opting for the Clinuque Super City Block

Then, as I have oily skin I want to try Urban Decay's De Slick in a tube

Finally I am so desperate to get the Estee Lauder Double wear light, but I am making myself use up some other foundations first

So those are the products I am thinking of getting this moth, what's on your wishlist?

Bye for now xx
